Players

Each player connects to the game using a nickname. Inside the game you may meet other players and you are visible from others in the same room. You can move walk away, or perform actions interacting with the players and the environment.

If you decide to quit, then use the [Disconnect] button: this way your character will disappear dropping on the floor all picked items. If you close the browser or if the internet connection crashes (even if you re-connect immediately) you will not be able to continue the game and you will have to re-connect. In that case, your actor will remain still for a minute and then will be automatically terminated.

Each player can carry items always visible in the "Inventory" list. The capacity of the pockets is limited, but you can increase it by using bags, backpacks, etc.

Actors and robots

The computer-controlled actors are virtually identical to players, except for they are controlled by the system. They can speak, give you objects and trade them, react to events, even change mood and behaviour. They don't listen to speeches between players so if you want to speak with an actor, talk directly to him using the [SAY] button and clicking his icon or picture.

Items

There are several items in the game which you can pick up and use. Items can be given to other players and, in some cases, are accepted also by the actors which usually give you something in return. Some items can contain other ones, they can be open or closed or even locked. In some cases you may want to hide them so that other players cannot pick them up.

You cannot steal an item owned by somebody, there are some cases though in which a player is forced to drop all that he is carrying. Usually this does not work with computer-controlled actors.

Paths, doors and passages

Through them you move around in the game, but sometimes you will have to open a door first or use the appropriate key to unlock it. In the game you may find also special devices capable to open secret passages or transport you elsewhere.

Special items

It is possible that some items have weird effects. For example, there are switches capable of altering the games' behaviour. Other objects, when used on other players, act like weapons. To learn more, you will have to examine carefully, speak with actors, and experiment.
